Today, I am grateful that my friend/hairstylist doesn't charge highlights by the total number of foils she uses. Granted, once my name is on the schedule, her afternoon is basically shot. My hair is so thick. So very, very thick.
Just for kicks, she counted each foil after my color had processed today. And the grand total was...
[dramatic pause]
81!!!!! Eighty one!!!! One more than eighty!!!! Nineteen less than one hundred!!!! And if she charged $3 per foil like they do in big cities, my grand total would've been $243.00! And I would've had to sell my blood plasma to pay for it!
Bless her heart for being so patient and thorough. She's a gem, that one.

I hate to dust, vacuum, or iron. I can't sleep in socks, I despise having to wear a coat, and I've been known to drink milk straight from the gallon. I have an elephant's memory and can tell you things that most people forget even happened. I prefer the cold side of the pillow, I appreciate a good belch, I must have things organized, and I love sweet tea.
