Today I am grateful for an afternoon at the lake with my favorite girl in the whole world.

We took some bread along to feed the ducks and squirrels. But once we arrived, there wasn't a single one in sight.

Instead, we ran around and played until we were both worn slap out. It was to my advantage that the playground was empty so I could act like a kid, too!

We're gonna have to do this more often.
