Come along with me on my journey of being grateful every day for a year...

44/365

Today, I'm grateful for the freedom to be a registered voter. Grateful for hard work and dedication. Grateful for people who are willing to make a difference in our town and work together for the greater good.

Yesterday was Election Day and my brother-in-law was campaigning to be Sheriff of our county. He worked hard, ran a clean race, and his voice was heard. He claimed the victory last night by 863 votes.

I am certain that he will do everything in his power to better our community. He cares about this town and puts his heart into his job, not only because he is a law enforcement officer, but a dad. A son. A brother. An uncle. A friend.
