Today, I am grateful for a moment I caught on video. And the progress she's making in Speech, much in part to the wonderful therapists who work with her during and after school.

I can hear her saying, "Puppy!" "I good puppy!" And "Mama."

One of these days, she will be able to say, "I love you, Mama." for the very first time. And I will cry buckets of tears. But until then, this Mama-heart of mine is overflowing with pride for my little girl.

*This is the puppy she got in the NICU as an infant and has packed around for years. It has been very loved and sewn together numerous times, and even made it in our family photo session a while back.* ;)
