Today, I'm grateful for people who believe in the power of prayer as Laura, my dear childhood friend, was in the ICU of a local hospital with sudden illness. As I stepped off the elevator, I was amazed at the crowd of people who lined the hallway and waiting area as we were all updated on her condition through the evening. For a girl who has been through so much during her childhood and young adult life, I know she feels our overwhelming love for her from her hospital bed.
